Today Nov 5th was the day America got its first black president and I more importantly climbed Tarn Crag near Grasmere. Again it was a great day with blue skies all the way round, the pic on the summit cairn is me and alf on tarn crag, looking down on the larger tarn is Easedale tarn and the smaller is Coledale Tarn. Iam crossing the stream just below Easedale, the walk was 6 miles and it took me 3.5 hours as I took my time and strolled around the route. A great strole around the Grasmere hills hopefully i will be back next week.
