12th November I climbed a mountain near Ambleside called Red Screes the weather was great today and the views were amazing especially off the summit. On the picture you can see the Kirkstone Pass inn one of the highest pubs in England. The picture of me on the summit has Yoke and ill bell of the Kentmere Horseshoe in the background. There is also a pic down to Brothers water and a great pic of Hellvelyn and Striding Edge with some snow on the top. I desended down the Scandale Pass to Ambleside a nice walk with red screes on my left and high and low pike to my right of the Fairfield Horseshoe. The walk was approx 9 miles and took 4 hours in total.
