An unbelievably warm Februarys day had walkers in Coniston with shorts and t-shirts on. I assended Dow Crag from the Duddon Valley side and walked along the top from Brown Pike picture top right Buck Pike and Dow Crag. The pictures are looking down Dow crag into the tarns a real head for heights was needed as Dow crag drops off in several places. The picture above is of my shadow looking down the col between Dow and the Old Man I desended at this point to Seathwaite tarn as the 'ants' were crawling all over the Old Man!!
